Ever since the Association handed the museum over to the Hastings Corporation (now Hastings Borough Council) it has been represented on the Council’s Museum Committee which advises the Cabinet on all things concerning the Museum. Information about the Committee can be found here

Following our 2024 AGM our representatives are: Richard Street, Susannah-Farley-Green, Steve Peak, Andre Palfrey Martin, Dr Hilda Kean and Bill Montgomery.

Formal meetings take place four times a year and reports for the meetings are posted on the Council’s website a few days before the meeting. Reports and minutes of previous meetings can be found on the same link. Members of the public are welcome to attend the meetings in person at Muriel Matters House or online.
